About

In 2011, with the help of my friend, we embarked on a project to raise money for children with cancer.  We decided that we would publish a book, compiling poems by people from around the world. The book was entitled "Poetry Against Cancer" and the money raised from the sales of the book went to the oncology ward in Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Crumlin, Ireland. The book was a great success and my interest in writing poetry blossomed from there.

IIn late 2013, I decided that once again I would like to raise money for children with cancer.  I felt that children who managed to smile and keep going through the face of such adversity, truly deserved something back.  I began writing a children's book entitled "The Princess Who Lost Her Manners" The book has just finished being illustrated and my friend Paul Carroll is currently putting all of the pages together.  When published, 90% of the book's proceeds will go to Aoibheann's Pink Tie, a charity who work tirelessly to make a child's battle with cancer a little easier, by providing respite days, arranging for children to meet celebrities, providing special swim suits so that the children can still swim while having chemotherapy treatment, and much more.   The book will be launched on 21st November 2015
